AWUM envisions healthy, strong and safe Asian families and communities in which women and girls can reach to their full potential. Asian women will have access to health care and legal services from providers who will understand and respect of their cultural beliefs. Asian women and girls will be able to seek education, economic self-sufficiency and leadership opportunities. Their families will better understand and appreciate their capabilities. |

AWUM’S main targeted population is addressing domestic violence in the Asian community. However, AWUM does not limit its services to other ethnic or cultural background, domestic violence affects each and every one of us it affects our home our children and the community at large. Domestic Violence is a societal and community issues. |
